About the MTA
The Manitoba Trucking Association is an Industry Association that represents the interests of the Trucking Industry in Manitoba.
Membership is comprised of Carrier members, which includes P.S.V. (For hire) fleets, private fleets, household mover fleets, heavy haul fleets, couriers, local cartage companies, and Associated Trades Division members, which includes companies that provide services to Carrier members.
Member companies range in size from one truck operators to companies operating hundreds of trucks and employing thousands of workers. Additionally, the Manitoba Trucking Association maintains a Vehicle Maintenance Council.
Our Mandate
The Mandate of the MTA is to serve the needs of the trucking industry and its interested parties through promoting a healthy business environment and advocating for safety, education, and responsibility.
