MB PROFESSIONAL TRUCK DRIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 2011 Manitoba Professional Truck Driving Championships will take place on Saturday June 25 at Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. (1895 Brookside Boulevard).

Who can enter?

Any city or highway driver employed by a common, contract, specialized or private Carrier Company, whose primary responsibility is driving and who has been accident-free for the past 12 months. Drivers must be permanent residents of Manitoba or domiciled here, and may not have driven for more than 2 companies in the past 12 months.

How much does it cost?
The cost is $145 plus GST per driver for MTA member companies, and $180 plus GST for non-member companies. Two tickets for the Awards Banquet are included in the registration fee.

What are the Classes of Competition?*

2-axle Straight Truck 3-axle Single/Single 4-axle Single/Tandem
5-axle Tandem/Tandem 8-axle Super B Train

*Please Note, there will no longer be a step van category.

What is required for a team entry?
A team consists of 4 to 6 drivers, entered in at least 4 classes of competition. Companies may enter a maximum of 2 teams. Drivers from different employers may enter as a team. Team members must be listed on the Entry Form at the time of registration. No changes in team personnel are permitted.

How do I enter?

Fill out registration form, driver declaration and release form below, and include it along with:
- your driver’s abstract, which must not be any older than 30 days of event (dated May 25, 2011 or later)
- the entry fee

The deadline to enter is 4 p.m. on June 17, 2011!

The competition will be followed by the Driver Banquet at the Victoria Inn that evening, where the day's top winners will be announced and awarded their prizes.
