2010 National Truck Driving Championships

2010 NATIONAL PROFESSIONAL TRUCK DRIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Manitoba Trucking Association is proud to be the host of this year's National Professional Truck Driving Championships from September 16-19. This event is hosted annually by a different regional trucking association and preparations for this event in Winnipeg have been in the works for over a year.

Not only will our visitors be staying at Canad Inns Polo Park for the duration of their stay, this will also be the site for the Driver Awards Banquet, the Defects Station, and the Written test. The Driving Challenge portion on the event will conveniently be held just across the street, at the Canad Inns Stadium.

Thursday, September 16

Participants arrive

6 P.M - 8 P.M. - Registration

7 P.M - 11 P.M. - Welcome Reception, Canad Inns Polo Park

Friday, September 17

7 A.M.- 10 A.M. - Breakfast, Alto's, Canad Inns Polo Park

8 A.M. - 12 P.M. - Written Tests & Defects Station, Canad Inns Polo Park

PM - Team reps meeting (go through course), Canad Inns Stadium

12 P.M. - 5 P.M. - Free time (for things to see and do, see link below)

1 P.M. - 4 P.M. - Tour to The Forks (pre-registration required, shuttle provided free of charge)

6 P.M. - Participant’s Banquet, The Hitch & Post
