2010 NATIONAL PROFESSIONAL TRUCK DRIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Manitoba Trucking Association is proud to be the host of this year's National Professional Truck Driving Championships from September 16-19. This event is hosted annually by a different regional trucking association and preparations for this event in Winnipeg have been in the works for over a year.

Not only will our visitors be staying at Canad Inns Polo Park for the duration of their stay, this will also be the site for the Driver Awards Banquet and the Written test. The Defects station and Driving Challenge portions on the event will conveniently be held just across the street, at the Canad Inns Stadium.

Thursday, September 18

Participants Arrive

1:00- 6:00 p.m. Registration outside of Ambassador Room H

7:00 -8:00 p.m. Registration at Welcome Reception, Ambassador Room 1

7:00 – 11:00 p.m. Welcome Reception, Ambassador Room 1

Friday, September 17

7:00 – 10:00 a.m. Breakfast at Aalto’s restaurant, located in lobby of hotel

WRITTEN TESTS

All tests will take place in Ambassador Room E

PRE-TRIP INSPECTIONS/DEFECTS

Inspections will take place at Canad Inns Stadium (across the street from hotel). Shuttles will be available if required.

During your free time, we encourage you to take part of our tour to The Forks, a historical riverside site, market and home to numerous shops. It is a “must see” for any visitor to Winnipeg. Visit www.theforks.com for more information and confirm your participation in the tour upon registration (free shuttle bus provided).

5:00 p.m. Bus shuttle departs for reception at the Hitch N’ Post. Meet in hotel front lobby.

6:00 -10:00 p.m. Participant’s Reception at the Hitch N’ Post.

10:00 p.m. Bus departs back to the hotel.
